THE BEAT GOES ON: Councillor Yuleen Jewell and Sandy Laird, from the Rotary Club of Droitwich Spa, try out some of the instruments with pupils Jack Evans, Natalie Price, Rebecca Bishop and Luke Prescott.

MUSIC loving youngsters have been given a helping hand by the town's Rotary Club.

Members of the group visited Chawson First School, Wych Road, on Monday to hand over £500 to help buy more instruments.

The Rotary Club of Droitwich Spa has raised the cash by holding a number of fundraising events. The money will be used to buy music equipment for children to enjoy and learn.
