Walking under the moonlight

| HAIR WE GO: Sam Lavin, Bryony Cartwright and Emma Wright, from Organic Hair in Droitwich High Street, prepare for the St Richard's Hospice Midnight Walk. |
STAFF at a Spa hair salon will don trainers and fancy dress outfits before taking part in a midnight walk through the streets of Worcester.
The group, from Organic Hair in the High Street, are set to take part in the summer event, which has been organised by St Richard's Hospice, in memory of a colleague's relative.
Emma Caldicott, of Organic Hair, is walking in memory of her grandad Andy and has encouraged family, friends and colleagues to join Team Andy. The funds they raise will go towards a Forget Me Not Fund set up in Andy's name.
Fundraisers hope that hundreds will join them and take to the streets on Saturday, July 5, to raise money for the hospice.
Starting at midnight from County Hall in Spetchley, walkers will stride out along a ten mile circular route under a moonlit sky.
Emma said: "The care grandad received from St Richard's was just wonderful and the whole family were given incredible support. By raising funds we can help other families at a difficult time in their lives."
Emma has set up an online donations page and anyone wishing to sponsor the Organic Hair team can donate online at www.justgiving.com/andycaldicott or call into the hairdressers with their donation.

Hospice fundraising manager Tricia Cavell said: "This is all set to be a truly memorable event and a great girls' night out for Team Andy and everyone taking part. We have more than 500 women registered already and are expecting up to 2,000 so the atmosphere should be incredible. Ladies can dress up or dress down and we are asking all women to get their friends, family and colleagues to join us for a night out with a difference."
The event is being sponsored by Hewett Recruitment of Worcester and Kidderminster.
Walkers can treat themselves to breakfast at the Orchard café at the countryside centre at the end of the walk. For a registration form call the fundraising department on 01905 763963 or download the leaflet from the events section of www.strichards.org.uk
Registration costs £10 and participants are encouraged to get sponsorship.
