The Spa shines
AN event to celebrate Droitwich Spa and raise cash for good causes is set to take place next week. The Droitwich Spa Shines gala evening, including Spa mayor Richard Morris and the Norbury Theatre, will be held at the Friar Street venue on Saturday, April 5. The event is in aid of the theatre and the mayor's charities. Talents on show include the Salvation Army Choir, town youngster Charlie Green, the Air Cadet band, finalists from the district's W factor competition and the Norbury Players. The entertainment will begin at 7.30pm with tickets costing £8.50 (concessions £7.50). Tickets can be bought from The Norbury Theatre's box office by calling 01905 770154.
