Flying the flag?
IT was a surprise to my wife and I that there was even a flag flying on St George's Day, incorrect as it was.
It just highlights the fact that all politicians - no matter what political party - have no interest in England.
They signed away England years ago when we became regions of Europe, and just to rub salt into the wound the new European map was released on, you've guessed it, St George's Day, with no English Channel or England mentioned on the map. Just regions that we haven't even been allowed to vote on.
The local council should have telephoned me I would gladly have donated a red cross on a white background, but perhaps they didn't know how to describe it.
