Dragon chase
YES it was sad that Droitwich Town Council forgot to fly the English flag on St George's Day.
Perhaps we can remind them to give it a flutter next year.
However, worry not - St George, alias Stan Gould, was alive and flying the flag in the Martley area of Worcestershire searching for the dragon.
Alas, this time the dragon escaped, but there is always next year.
Olwen Gould, Droitwich Spa.
*** Thanks for the news Olwen, and here's hoping that on April 23 next year we will see more done to celebrate the day of England's patron saint, St George, not only in Droitwich but all around Worcestershire and much further afield. EDITOR
