Parking sympathy
I SYMPATHISE with local residents near to Droitwich railway station who are unable to park near to their own homes.
However, I would like to point out that the problem of parked cars in surrounding streets was highlighted to the planning department of Wychavon District Council by many commuters prior to the conversion of the land, when many people lodged objections to NCP converting the area, and it was promptly ignored.
Is it any wonder that the car park is empty during the working week when commuters already pay in the region of £1,000 per annum to travel into Birmingham?
Now Council Tax payers are to foot the bill for yellow lines!
Come on Wychavon council don't say you weren't warned!
