Workman woes

Re ResurfacinG Works in Droitwich Day One: We were pleased that resurfacing was taking place to a damaged road surface, but were annoyed that a small rowan tree was knocked down and left on the road side and pavement for three days, a potential hazard.

Day Two: Rang Ringway and was told I would be contacted. No response.

Day Three: Rang Ringway and again no response! Resurfacing now finished, I asked a worker on the road this morning if the tree would be replaced and was told that it was rotten anyway! (The tree had berries on it in the autumn).

We are now left with a 12 inch high tree stump on the pavement and no more info about the tree being replaced. Does anyone care about the amount of trees we are losing because of careless working and damage.
