A NEW pharmacy manager has been appointed at a branch of The Midcounties Co-operative in Kidderminster.
Liz Brooke, of Bewdley, has taken up the position at the Linden Avenue branch. She has worked as a self-employed pharmacist for 18 years, regularly based at Linden Avenue. She has now gone full time, joining the existing five members of the team.
The 41-year-old said: “I’m thrilled to have become a permanent part of the team, especially during the International Year of Co-operatives, which celebrates the values I share with the Society.
“Customers have also been very welcoming, offering their congratulations, which I really appreciate.”
Julie Sheldon, Midcounties’ operations manager, said: “Having known Liz for many years, it’s fantastic to have her on board as a permanent colleague.”
