WHEN Spring Grove House announced its arrival to the corporate world with a £5 million refurbishment, there were some members of staff who were preparing for a very different kind of event.
Within the space of just three months, three members of Bewdley's West Midland Safari Park staff were celebrating their own special arrivals.
First came baby Sebastian, born on July 13, 2010 to Lucy Ireland, the park’s veterinary nurse, whose husband is also head keeper of the Discovery Trail.
Second was baby Emily, on September 10, to banking clerk, Charlene Evans and thirdly baby Oliver, who arrived on October 13, to Leanne Lewis, a senior keeper, who helps look after the hoof stock.
While the new mums might have missed out on the Spring Grove House opening parties last year, they have all since visited the park to show off their new babies.
Ian Warrington, general manager of Spring Grove House, said: “It was great to show Spring Grove House off and all three babies were remarkably well behaved.”
