MURRAY Myers Ltd is celebrating two years in business and its move to new offices in Netherton to support its growing team.

Managing director, Denise Myers, said: "After 17 years in the recruitment industry, I had growing concerns that the needs of employers and candidates were not being met.

"After analysing the local industry, I quickly realised that there was a real need for someone based locally, that could advise and consult with businesses on how best to add to their teams."

She continued: "As a start-up situated in my first office in Netherton, the Black Country Chamber offered me lots of support, advice and encouragement.

"I then joined the Natwest Business Accelerator, E-Spark at the beginning of 2016 and things have gone from strength to strength.

"Although I was on my own, I actually felt part of a much larger organisation. Now, being part of a bigger team has become a reality."

Denise now employs two full time consultants, Nikki Hadley and Beckie Murray.

Between them, the team have more than 25 years worth of recruitment experience and are looking forward to using their knowledge to build a wider network of clients in the Black Country area.

"As an experienced consultant, I knew how important it was to get my own recruitment right," Denise continued.

"I knew I needed to create a team that works as hard as I do and is passionate about the quality of service Murray Myers Ltd prides itself on.

"That was the hardest, but most important thing to pinpoint in candidates.

"I’m delighted that we’ve succeeded. We now have a great team to build on our recent success and are ready to assist the wider Black Country manufacturing community.”
