A KIND-hearted Wyre Forest law firm has donated £500 to a charity that offers vital support to people with disabilities.

The donation from mfg Solicitors will provide much-needed funding for charity Snoezelen, which offers multi-sensory activities for children and adults of all ages who live with physical and learning disabilities.

It will help the Worcester-based charity purchase musical sensory equipment for young people and adults as part of its service which allows users to explore their talents without being held back by disability.

The charity also provides aqua-therapy in its adapted pool alongside drama and dance clubs, art and fitness classes and a sensory centre which includes an interactive room, star tunnel, sensory garden and soft play area.

Kirsten Bridgewater, partner and chair of mfg’s corporate and social responsibility committee, said: “The team at Snoezelen do an outstanding job and help hundreds of people every year.

“We are well aware of the impact the charity has had on people’s lives in and around the Wyre Forest.

“We therefore hope our donation will go some way to supporting them further as it is a lifeline for so many people and their families.”

Emma Broadhurst, office and finance manager from Snoezelen, added: “As an independent charity, we rely heavily on donations and kindness from across Worcestershire.

“Kirsten and the team at mfg Solicitors have shown a real interest in how we support people and the impact we make.

“So on behalf of everyone at the charity I would thank everyone at the firm for their support. It means so much to so many.”
