A HAGLEY house building company hopes to take on the ‘big guns’ of the industry once again as it gets set for a re-launch.

Before the financial crunch of 2008, Hagley Homes was among the top names in the local building firms.

But now, after successful negotiations for new sites, the company is to re-launch under the leadership of Dudley man Robert Lemm.

While bringing a wealth of experience to the challenge is Steve Clutterbuck who will take on the role of commercial director.

Robert said: “Hagley is a team business intent on building quality family homes to meet modern lifestyles.”

The father of three had formed a successful contracting company, Lemm Peach Ltd, who were widely in demand across the West Midlands and became Hagley Homes lead carpentry contractors.

Steve was born in Birmingham attending local schools in Castle Bromwich and Erdington before being recruited to the National Westminster Bank.

In 1990 he became a manager in Birmingham city centre and after RBS became the owners of NatWest he was appointed regional director in 2009.

Since retiring in 2014 after 36 years’ service, he has worked closely with Robert to bring Hagley Homes back to the market.
