TWO Sedgley sisters have turned a dream that was brewing in their family for years into a reality.
Samantha Bowen and Beverley Thelwell opened William's coffee house and eatery in Penny Farthing Arcade on Saturday (July 4).
It was an emotional day for the siblings, who named the Sedgley business after their late father, as they have now fulfilled his wish of the family running their own cafe.
Mrs Bowen said: "My dad loved cooking and he always said he wanted a little cafe one day.
"Sadly, he passed away quite suddenly 11 years ago but as soon as we got this place, we knew we'd name it after him."
She said the opening day went "really well" with people enjoying light bites and homemade cakes while sipping coffee and tea.
The 40-year-old added: "I really feel we have both done my dad proud and those who knew him have said the same."
