STAFF members at a Brierley Hill law firm have been rejoicing in their own success, at a recent night of award celebrations.

Employees at Higgs & Sons, based at Waterfront Business Park, took part in the company’s academy awards at Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Molineux Stadium.

The ceremony, presided over by former Olympic athlete Roger Black, was an opportunity for the firm to celebrate its achievements throughout the past 12 months and highlight individual contributions.

Paul Hunt, managing partner, said: “The Higgs & Sons Academy Awards is a fantastic forum through which we celebrate our team.

“It has been another tremendous year for Higgs & Sons, and the seven categories highlight just some of the many individuals and the work they do each year to contribute to the on-going success of this firm.”

Nominees and winners in each of the seven award categories, covering areas such as service, technical excellence and innovation, were chosen by the firm’s staff.

Mr Hunt said: “It was a tough decision for the judges this year as the nominations really did show the strength in depth of the firm and just how many talented individuals we have in our ranks.

“Our people have said the most wonderful things about their colleagues, so well done to all our winners and those who were highly commended.”
