A WORCESTER-based public relations company has beaten off dozens of competitors to win a contract with a leading national care home group.

GD PR and Media, which is based in Malvern Road, will manage local and sectoral media relations for the Caring Homes Group, which has its headquarters in Colchester, Essex GD PR will be working closely with the company’s in-house marketing team to promote and highlight the excellence achieved throughout the group’s care homes across the country.

Emma Charlton, marketing director for the Caring Homes Group, said: “GD PR and Media has demonstrated clear knowledge, experience and results within this sector, so we are very pleased to be working with them and look forward to a successful partnership.”

Since it was founded in 1994, the Caring Homes Group has grown into one of the UK’s largest independent providers of care for elderly people offering residential, nursing and specialist dementia care services for around 3,000 people in 65 homes.
