New Road incident: Firefighters use cutting equipment to free a man trapped in a Toyota people carrier. Ref:s

ROAD blocks are in place in New Road following an incident this morning, (February 22).

Bromsgrove firefighters, police and ambulance crews were called to the accident, which happened at the junction with The Crescent and College Road, at around 8.30am.

Fire crews have been using cutting equipment to free a trapped man in a red Toyota people carrier.

Motorists were delayed during the rush hour, as part of the road was cordoned off, forcing vehicles heading from the Bromsgrove Highway to do a u-turn in New Road.
