PUPILS at a Rock Hill school returned from half term to take part in two days designed to make maths exciting.
Youngsters from St Peter’s RC First School were set challenging and exciting maths based activities, which enabled them to apply mathematical skills they had learned, in practical ways.
Amongst the activities set by teachers were exploring the school on a maths trail, solving problems in Teddy Town, and even designing imaginative maths hats to wear.
Youngsters who enjoyed the activities are now looking forward to more fun maths activities, planned for the rest of this term.
