RESIDENTS are being warned they may face some disruption when a busy car park in Bromsgrove closes for essential maintenance work.
Recreation Road South Car Park, commonly referred to as Asda Cark Park, will be closed overnight on Tuesday, October 24, for from 9pm until 6am.
The closure will enable the completion of resurfacing, lining, height barrier, sweeping and landscaping works.
There may also be disruption to the car park and reduced parking due to repair works to the Yorkstone paving outside the store between October 11 and 20.
Head of environmental services Guy Revans said: “We are aware that this is a very popular car park which is why we have decided to complete the main repair and resurfacing work outside of normal shopping hours.
“There will be some disruption whilst we repair the Yorkstone paving but we will aim to keep this to a minimum.
“These works are essential and aim to provide better parking opportunities as well as making the area safer for visitors.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will aim to get the work completed as quickly and efficiently as possible.”
