A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital after a crash in Sidemoor this morning (Tuesday, May 23).
The incident took place at the junction of Crabtree Lane and Broad Street and involved a motorbike and a car.
West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) sent a single ambulance to the scene and police closed off the road as a result.
A WMAS spokesman said: "We received five calls at 8.13am to reports of a car and a motorcycle collision.
"We sent one ambulance and a paramedic officer to the scene.
"A man aged 20 was complaining of pelvic and abdominal pain.
"As a precaution he was immobilised using a pelvic binder and given pain relief and taken to the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch."
