AN ANNUAL walk raising money for a cancer charity is returning to Bromsgrove in June.
Residents are being encouraged to sign up for the Bromsgrove Forget Me Not Walk 2017 on Sunday, June 11, to help Bloodwise raise money to beat blood cancer.
The event begins in Sanders Park and takes participants through medieval tracks, countryside footpaths and watering holes along the way.
Children and adults can complete a one, three, five, eight or 12-mile sponsored walk.
Each walk begins at a different time, starting with 12 miles from 10am, eight miles from 10.30am, five miles from 11am, three miles from 11.115am, and one mile from 11.30am.
Entry costs £10 for adults (£12.50 on the day), £5 for juniors and £28 for a family of four (£30 on the day). Sponsorship forms can also be downloaded from the charity’s website.
