A CARE home in Bromsgrove is developing its end of life support, in pursuit of obtaining a 'Gold Standard Framework'.
St John's Court has joined the programme, which aims to improve quality of care to provide a 'good death', improve collaboration with other health care teams, and reduce the number of hospital admissions in the final stage of life.
Laura Wilkes, who manages the St John Street home, said: "For us as a nursing home team to be able to build on the care and support we offer at such a difficult time - for not just the lady or gentleman who is moving in but for their loved ones too - is fantastic.
"We are so eager and enthusiastic to develop and improve on what we already offer."
