A MAN was left lying unconscious in a Bromsgrove street with a fractured skull, after he was struck over the back of the head.
The attack happened outside a premises on Worcester Road between 3.40am and 3.55am on Sunday, May 7.
The man, aged in his 20s, was hit over the head from behind by an unkown offender, and was later taken to hospital.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "Enquiries are currently ongoing, but police are urging anybody who may have witnessed the assault or have been in the area at the time to come forward."
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident number 250s of May 8.
