VIEWERS can visit Mars under the stars this weekend, with an open-air cinema showing of The Martian at Avoncroft Museum.
The sci-fi hit, featuring Matt Damon, will be screening at 8.30pm on Friday, September 2.
The film tells the story of astronaut Mark Watney, as he fights for survival on a hostile planet with limited supplies.
Visitors are encouraged to bring along their picnic blanket, chairs and a selection of nibbles, to make the most of the open-air experience.
Bromsgrove Astronomical Society will also be giving viewers the chance to see some real stars through their top-of-the-range telescopes.
A bar will be available to purchase drinks, and live music will be played on the night.
Doors will open at 7.45pm. The film is certificate 12. Tickets cost £7 for adults, or £6 for concessions.
Visit artrix.co.uk or call 01527 577 330 for tickets, or buy them at the gate on Friday.
