AN awareness day, held by Bromsgrove High Street's Specsavers team, has raised £384 for the Guide Dogs charity.
Staff were joined by charity representatives and their furry friends on Saturday, August 20, to teach customers more about the cause.
Store director Mark Gibson said: "Our awareness day was a great success and we’re really proud to have raised so much money to support Guide Dogs’ ongoing work.
"The charity does some fantastic work to support blind and partially sighted people right across the UK, as well as here in Bromsgrove, and it was lovely to be joined by local representatives and their guide dogs. We’d just like to say a big thank you to everybody who popped in on Saturday to show their support and make a donation."
