ST Chad’s Church in Rubery is holding its annual Summer Craft Fair on Saturday, July 9 with 17 stalls on display, offering everything from cards, cakes and candles, to jewellery, sewn items, unique prints, bags, gift boxes, knitted things and flowers.

The majority of stall holders are local makers, who are creating a variety of one-off pieces to sell on the day, with knitted toys from Elaine Davenport, jewellery from Sylvia Tempest Jones, mosaic coaster from Karena Crafts, wooden wall clocks from Azure Crafts, and gift bags from Ginger Cat Crafts.

There will also be flowers from Amy’s Floral Design, candles from Lil Stinkerz Wax, and hand crafted cards from Pat Humphrey, Sue’s Special Stitches and Ros Holman, while for something completely different, Ann Smith is offering a range of Peruvian Gifts.

For those more keen on edible treats there will be a well-stocked cake stall and a refreshment area, while for the youngsters there will be a children’s area with games and face painting on offer.

The craft fair is running from 10am-3pm with a grand raffle, which is offering a case of wine, shopping vouchers, and a chocolate hamper as prizes.

Money raised from the craft fair will be going toward supporting the ongoing work of the church, and to help maintain the building .
