FREE courses to support residents coping with stress and worry are now running across Worcestershire.
The Moodmaster programme, launched by Worcestershire Healthy Minds, provides people with a range of simple tools and techniques to manage life's emotional ups and downs effectively and cope with everyday strains.
Julie Evans, clinical lead at the programme, said: "The sessions are based around Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and are for people aged 16 plus. The groups are small and led by a specially trained leader who will make sure that everyone has time to reflect and is able to uncover a happier and healthier approach to life.
“People are able to attend up to 12 weekly sessions for free. These sessions do not require a referral from a GP.”
Each week the Moodmaster sessions will focus on a different topic such as sleep, worry, relaxation, dealing with stress, problem solving and friendships.
