A MAN who was found dead in Belbroughton took a lethal dose of drugs he bought online, an inquest heard.
Roger Grainger, 69, was suffering with a progressive neurodegenerative disorder, diagnosed as a progressive Supranuclear Palsy.
Mr Grainger bought pentobarbital, a drug which slows brain activity and the nervous system, online.
The inquest found Mr Grainger to have taken a lethal dose of the drug on March 17, intending to take his own life.
Worcestershire Coroner's Service ruled the medical cause of death to be bronchopneumonia, an inflammation of the lungs, and a pentobarbital overdose.
The coroner found Mr Grainger's death to be the result of suicide and the inquest was closed on June 14.
