Cash and laptop stolen in Alvechurch daylight burglary
POLICE in Alvechurch are appealing for witnesses after burglars broke into a house in the village in broad daylight.
The incident occurred at some point between 12.15pm and 1.50pm on Monday, May 23, when burglars smashed a downstairs window of a house on Swans Walk, gaining access to the property.
They made a search of the entire premises before stealing some cash and a laptop, and making their escape.
Anyone who saw any suspicious activity around Swans Walk on Monday afternoon or thinks they might have spotted the stolen laptop, is asked to contact West Mercia Police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting incident no. 0368s230516 or alternatively they can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
