A BEACON was lit in Bromsgrove town centre this week as part of the celebrations to mark the Queen’s 90th birthday.
More than 1,000 beacons were lit across the UK with a number lit across Worcestershire including beacons in Bromsgrove and at Hanbury Hall, as well as in many other towns, parishes and local communities.
Bromsgrove District Council organised an evening of entertainment on the High Street with Blackwell Wind and Concert Band performing along with the Bromsgrove Birthday Singers.
