A BROTHER and sister from Aston Fields in Bromsgrove have just completed a charity bike ride from London to Paris in memory of their beloved grandad.

Sam and Holly Robinson started their 317 mile journey at 6am on April 20 and reached the Eiffel Tower on Saturday afternoon, having raised an impressive £3,700 for the Lymphoma Association.

Their grandad Ray Mison sadly died from lymphatic cancer in July 2014.

Over the course of their four day journey, Holly, 27, and Sam, 29, rode from Crystal Palace to Dover to Calais and then on to Abbeville, Beauvais and finally Paris.

Now back home in Bromsgrove, Holly said: "It was the hardest thing I've ever done without a doubt. Me and Sam are just so overwhelmed by the amount of money we've raised. We originally set ourselves a £3,000 target - £1,500 each - so we're really happy with the amount we've managed to reach."
