A FOSTERING agency has launched a new recruitment drive to address the shortage of foster carers in Worcestershire.
Foster Care Associates hopes the Finding Room to Foster campaign will encourage more people to follow in the footsteps of its existing carers, who have made room both emotionally and physically to become fosterers.
Roy Murray, from the agency, said: “We’ve been working with vulnerable children for 21 years and our experience shows that one-to-one support in a family setting is the best way to help these children overcome their issues and deal with their past.
“We have some fabulous foster carers across Worcestershire and hope our campaign will encourage more people in the region to make room in their life and seriously consider becoming a foster carer.”
