HEART of Worcestershire College students are set to unleash their beauty talents and create a world of mystical fantasy in aid of charity.

The hair, beauty and make-up students are hosting a fundraising event in which will they showcase the skills they have picked up by offering members of the public hair and beauty treatments, in aid of Birmingham Children's Hospital.

Throughout the day the student’s work will be brought to life with full and half body painting being showcased, before being judged at a closed competition on the evening.

There will also be a number of fundraising activities taking place including a raffle, games and stalls manned by external exhibitors.

Sarah Bennett, make-up technician at the college, said: "The fundraiser is set to be a great event to not only showcase the fantastic level of work our students produce but to also raise money for Birmingham Children’s Hospital."

The event is on Friday, June 12, from 2.30pm until 5pm at the college's St Dunstan building, in Worcester.
