TWO Birmingham men arrested in Bromsgrove on suspicion of street dealing in hard drugs have each been jailed for three years at Worcester Crown Court.

The pair were passengers in a car stopped in Woodrow Lane, Catshill, on December 2 last year and police found valuable quantities of heroin and crack cocaine, said prosecutor Christopher Lester.

Michael Brown volunteered that he had a large stash hidden in his underpants. Rubel Miah had £400 in cash and a further £8,000 was seized from his home.

Brown, 25, of Newport Road, and Miah, 27, of Taunton Road, both in Balsall Heath, pleaded guilty to possessing the drugs with intent to supply.

Judge Toby Hooper QC said the pair were involved in the supply of drugs which caused misery for many people. He ordered the forfeit of all their cash and drugs.
