A BROMSGROVE cafe is holding a charity fundraising day to raise vital funds for a liver disease charity.

Lorita's Bakehouse in Bromsgrove High Street is holding the charity day tomorrow, (March 6) to raise money for the Children's Liver Disease Foundation, (CLDF).

The event is being co-ordinated by Bromsgrove resident Lisa Armstrong, who works for the charity but is currently on maternity leave.

“I’ve worked for the charity for four years now and have seen first hand the amazing work done supporting families who are given a devastating diagnosis that their child has a liver disease," Lisa said.

"Whilst I am off work, I decided this was the perfect opportunity to get involved with Big Yellow Friday.”

Bakehouse owner, Lorita Cornish says: “Lisa approached us to ask if we would be interested in getting involved and we were only too happy to help.

"CLDF seems like a great charity and we’re really looking forward to our yellow themed fun day.”

The event will take place between 9am and 5pm.

There will be yellow themed cakes on sale and a raffle with all proceeds being donated to the charity.
