A BROMSGROVE ventilation company and one of the key suppliers to the Thames Water Lee Tunnel Project is now looking to recruit four new apprentices.
Specialist company Air Technology Systems (ATS) is looking for two plumbers and two HVCA duct fitters, aged over 16, to join the team after taking part in a three year course at South & City College Birmingham.
The right candidates will put through the relevant college courses as well as the IRATA Rope Access courses.
Pete Dimmick, contracts manager, said: “The apprenticeships that we will be starting will be one of a kind as we will be not only putting apprentices through college as a plumber or an electrician, we will also be training them through the IRATA training syllabus.
“We are looking for enthusiastic people, willing to learn.”
The Lee Tunnel project is a four-mile long tunnel to relieve London's Victorian sewers and large amounts sewage entering the Thames and Lee rivers every year and is the second largest construction project in Europe. ATS are installing ventilation systems on the project at Beckton Sewage Treatment Works.
