BROMSGROVE youngsters have been remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice through a special remembrance garden.
In June members of the 1st Bromsgrove beavers, cubs and scouts began the project to create the First World War memorial garden.
A patch of land was cleared by St John's Church's community hall, with Webbs Garden Centre supplying the plants.
Work continued throughout the summer until the poppies bloomed.
Paula Landon, from the scout group, said: "The garden itself was in the shape of a poppy and flowers beneath it said 1914, 1918.
"Everything was done in red, white and blue.
"Many thanks to Webbs for supplying us with many of the plants."
