CATSHILL First School held its harvest festival assembly, last week.
On Friday, October 10, the children at the school brought in dozens of offerings and key stage 1 and 2 class performed a poem or song on the theme of harvest.
A harvest calypso was also performed by class CM.
Mrs Plant, the new head of school, said "Our current School Value is sharing and this was a wonderful example of the children and parents of our school sharing with their community.
“We were delighted to see so many parents in attendance at the assembly and joining in with some of the songs. I want to thank everyone for their generosity and effort.”
The school will now donate all of the food collected to Catshill Baptist Church Foodbank.
