A CHILDREN'S charity has benefited from a fundraising raffle held as part of the opening of new education centre in Bromsgrove.
Kip McGrath Education Centre opened in Worcester Road last month, providing tuition to children aged six to 16-years-old in core subjects such as maths, English, writing, spelling and reading.
An open day was held allowing the community to see the facility and the services it provides.
During the day a prize draw took place with first prize, a Kindle, going to local barber Dave Roberson.
Proceeds from raffle tickets sold managed to raise £100 that was donated to Save the Children, which works to save children’s lives, fight for their rights, and help them fulfil their potential.
