A LEAFLET signposting the services available to Bromsgrove's over 50s has been launched.

Twilight Highlights gives a list of helpful numbers for over 50s to use including for college courses, mobility classes, support services and community organisations.

It has been put together by the Bromsgrove Partnership in time for national Older People’s Day, on Wednesday, October 1.

Bromsgrove District Council Leader, councillor Margaret Sherrey - who also sits on the Bromsgrove Partnership’s Board and Older People’s Group, said: “There’s so many activities, events, organisation and support groups available for our older residents in Bromsgrove that we couldn’t list them all.

“But we do signpost people to the Bromsgrove and Redditch Network (BARN) which has an exhaustive list of what’s on offer in the district and can put you in touch with the right organisation.”

The leaflet will be updated every six months over the next two years and a bumper copy will be available in the winter edition of the council’s residents’ magazine Together Bromsgrove, being published in November.

Twilight Highlights will be sent to organisations across the district to circulate. Copies will also be available at the authority's Customer Service Centre, in School Drive or online at bromsgrovepartnership.org.uk or call BARN on 01527 60282.
