A SCHOOL supporting youngsters with special needs in Bromsgrove is appealing for the public's help.

Chadsgrove School and Specialist Sports College, in Meadow Road, has been shortlisted for the Lloyds Bank Community Fund Project.

Chadsgrove is a school for children with physical disabilities and complex medical needs, some of whom have associated sensory, communication and learning needs.

The Lloyds Bank Community Fund was set up to help local people to have a positive impact at the heart of their community - giving grants to 1,400 deserving good causes, in 350 communities.

There are four good causes shortlisted in each community, with people having the opportunity to vote for the causes they would most like to support.

If the school is successful it could be awarded up to £3,000 towards an Eye Gaze system for the school's pupils.

Eye Gaze works through a small in-built camera that looks into users eyes and tracks their movements.

The eye movements act as the computers’ mouse , allowing users to access a computer or laptop independently.

There are four ways to vote, either in the Lloyds branch in Bromsgrove High Street - or any branch of the bank, tweet #CommFundDMK, text VOTE DMK to 61119 - network charges apply, or visit lly-cf.co.uk/DMK.

Voting ends on Friday, October 10.
