BROMSGROVE and Redditch businesses are being invited to get involved with a charity networking event.
Primrose Hospice's Business Networking Lunch event is being held from noon on Friday, October 24.
Taking place at The Abbey Hotel Golf and Country Club, in Hither Green Lane, Redditch, the guest speaker at the event is Bromsgrove MP and Culture Secretary Sajid Javid.
It costs £26 to attend, which includes a two course lunch.
All money raised at the event will be donated to the hospice, in St Godwald's Road, Bromsgrove, which supports people facing an end of life situation and their families during this difficult time.
Mr Javid said: "Due to my personal experience of how important hospice care is, I urge you to support your local hospice.
"Primrose Hospice is an independent charity and relies on the generosity of the public to help raise £1.6million every year to provide their services to patients and their families free of charge, with only 20 per cent of this funding being provided by the NHS."
For more details, or to book, call Katie Willington from the hospice's fundraising team, on 01527 889796 or email katie@primrosehospice.org.
