ORGANISERS of a charity fund-raiser in Hanbury have thanked generous supporters who helped them raise hundreds of pounds.

At the end of September, the Jinney Ring Craft Centre hosted Animals R Magic.

Animal charities brought along alpacas, owls, rabbits, ferrets, dogs and birds, to support the event, which raised money for the Cinnamon Trust.

The charity helps elderly and terminally ill people care for their pets.

On the day, £460 was raised for the trust, which is currently using its services to benefit 150 people in Worcestershire.

The event was also the final chance to see the creatures of Jinney Ring’s popular sculpture trail, which featured more than 100 artworks produced by sculptors across the country.

Cinnamon Trust volunteer Janet Morgan said: “The organisers would like to thank everyone who braved the weather and who came along to enjoy the day, despite the rain.

“A huge thank you goes to everyone involved.”
