Coffee morning raises funds for sight charity

A COFFEE morning was held in Droitwich held to support a charity that helps people with sight problems.
Droitwich Spa’s Area Forum of Older People organised the event for Thursday, October 11.
People gathered at Tea Cups Tea Rooms, Gurney’s Lane, from 10am - noon to help raise funds for Sight Concern Worcestershire.
All money raised from the event was given to town mayor, Councillor Anne Taft, who will now donate it to the cause. She has selected Sight Concern as one of her chosen charities for the year.
