PILES of pumpkins will be making the perfect Halloween haven at Webbs Garden Centre at Wychbold for youngsters on half-term holidays.

Over 1,500 pumpkins will be delivered to Webbs ready for special hands-on pumpkin workshops.

Crowds of children are expected to flock to the popular annual workshops which take place every day from Saturday, October 27 to Wednesday, October 31 from 11am - 4pm.

Children will be able to don an apron and scoop out a pumpkin ready for a Webbs staff member to carve a Halloween face. Tickets are just £4.99 per child to include a pumpkin and battery tea light. Tickets can be purchased on the day.

For outdoor fun, a trail will lead youngsters on a path of discovery through the Riverside Gardens at Webbs. The free trail is open from Saturday, October 27 to Sunday, November 4 from 11 am - 5 pm.

For information on dates and times visit webbsdirect.co.uk Chairman Ed Webb said: "The pumpkin workshops are always a huge success and we make sure we have piles of pumpkins ready to go. Children just can't wait to get stuck in and have something creative to show at the end of it."
