Improved service should mean more happy endings for lost and found dogs
7:30am Wednesday 10th October 2012 in News
LOST or found dogs have more chance of being reunited with owners thanks to a new and improved service in Worcestershire.
The Dog Warden Team, which is part of Worcestershire Regulatory Services (WRS), now has a joined up database and operates a 24-hour call out service for animal lovers to get in touch with them.
Previously each local council had their own dog warden team but following the launch of WRS two years ago, one team works together across the county.
To report lost or found dogs call 01527 881395 during office hours or out of hours call 01527 67666 for Redditch, 01527 871565 for Bromsgrove and 08450 568835 for Wychavon.
