A DAREDEVIL Droitwich granddad proved that age is just a number when he jumped out of a plane at 10,000ft to raise thousands for charity.
Douglas Moseley, 82, took on a skydive in aid of Leukaemia Care at an airfield in Cirencester on Saturday, September 29.
He managed to raise £2,500 towards the cause thanks to kind donations from family and friends.
The pensioner, from Langley Road, smashed his £1,000 target for the charity that is close to his heart after he had Leukaemia a few years ago.
He said: “It was very exciting, exhilarating and a great experience. It was also great to do it for such a worthwhile cause.
“I have managed to raise £2,500 thanks to the support and donations of about 150 people. I would like to thank them for their help.”
