TOWN traders have been quizzed on crime in the area.
Adrian Blackshaw, Conservative candidate for the newly created role of police and crime commissioner for West Mercia Police visited Droitwich Spa on Monday, October 1.
The public across England and Wales will elect police and crime commissioners who will be accountable for how crime is tackled in their force area on November 15.
He visited traders in High Street to discuss crime and policing concerns ahead of next month's election.
He also visited St Andrews Square Shopping Centre and met local councillors during a tour of the town from 10.30am.
Mr Blackshaw said: “I was pleased to have the opportunity to meet with many local residents, traders and councillors to discuss their police and crime concerns.
"The creation of the role of police and crime commissioner is one of the most important changes to our policing for many generations, determining how the police will be run.”
