THE town’s mayor attended a coffee morning to help raise funds for a cancer charity.
Councillor Anne Taft was the guest of honour at an event organised by resident Carole Teagle at her home in Percheron Way, Droitwich, on Friday, September 28.
It is the 15th year running that she has organised a coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support after she lost her mother to the disease.
Coun Taft said: “Carole has been running these coffee mornings for 15 years. She is an excellent baker and makes brilliant cakes so the events are always popular. It was a lovely morning and it was a very nice gathering of people.”
