Jazz evening to support Droitwich Lido

THE Friends of Droitwich Spa Lido (FODSL) is inviting people to a jazz evening.
The event, featuring George Huxley All Star Jazz Band, will include a cheese and wine supper and will be held on Friday, October 19.
It will take place at The Sacred Heart Parish Hall, Worcester Road, Droitwich, from 7.30 - 10.30pm.
Tickets, which cost £16, can be obtained by calling Sheila Preston on 01905 798949.
This event follows a summer in which FODSL handed a cheque to Wychavon Leisure for over £3,000 which helped the purchase of a defibrillator for life-saving purposes for the lido and organising the successful water zorbing event.
Sheila Preston from FODSL said: “We can only continue to support our lido with the help of fundraising events and I encourage all Droitwich people who are proud that we have such a fantastic facility to support the jazz evening.”
