THE NORBURY Theatre’s resident amateur company is set to bring Broadway to Droitwich with a performance of Guys and Dolls.
The Norbury Players will present the musical at the Friar Street venue from 7.30pm from Thursday, October 18 – Saturday, October 20 and Tuesday, October 23 to Saturday, October 27. An additional Saturday matinee will take place on Saturday, October 27 at 2.30pm.
Featuring the songs "Luck be a Lady" and "Sit Down You're Rockin' the Boat", the musical comedy brings to life a mix of gamblers, gangsters and gutsy gals.
Based on the Broadway stories of Damon Runyon, Guys and Dolls tells the tale of Nathan Detroit, the organiser of the oldest established permanent floating crap game in New York, who bets fellow gambler Sky Masterson that he can't make the next girl he sees fall in love with him.
Tickets are £12 and £9 for concessions and are available from the box office on 01905 770154 or online at norburytheatre.co.uk
